Hong Kong Clean PC Day 2009 – Security of Online Transaction

Online Story Writing Competition

In order to encourage a proper altitude towards online transactions among the youth, OGCIO, HKPF and HKCERT have lined-up with Education Bureau (EDB), Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity), Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) to co-organise an "Online Story Writing Competition".

The competition aims to advocate a positive online transaction culture. Participants have brought out the idea through the form of story writing from different perspectives and identities, such as the merchants, customers, the transaction platform providers, e-banking service providers or users. Submissions are to be elaborated on the importance of safe online transaction to our social and economic life.

Numerous submissions have been received and the Judge Panel has given their respective ratings based on different aspects, including "creativity", "societal impact", "relationship with the theme of competition" and "story writing style". The announcement of competition results and prize award ceremony has been held on 25 November 2009 with the Hong Kong Clean PC Day 2009 security seminar.
