Q1.	What should I do if I have given out my personal financial information to phishers?
A1.	Keep calm and keep copies of the suspicious email and correspondence. If you have given out your personal financial information such as your Internet bank account username and password, change your password of your account immediately. Check your account status and contact the relevant organisation such as your bank for verification. You may consider to cancel your account and open a new one to avoid fraud and losses. Report the crime to the police immediately for investigation if necessary.
Q2.	What will phishers do after collecting information from the victims?
A2.	Fraudsters will normally use the information in the following ways: Sell in Internet Black Markets Personal or financial information that stolen by phishing is sold to criminal gangs in online Black Markets through Internet chat rooms or websites. These gangs will then buy this information and then use it for creating new bank or credit card accounts for overdraft or buy items and resell for cash. Take control of online shopping accounts Phishers once stole the account and financial information of online shoppers, they will take control of the account by changing the login password and use the account for online bidding auction items. In this way, any confirmation email and buying/selling information will not be known by the original account holder until the bank charges the original holder.
