a timely manner to prevent security attacks. Besides
avoiding visit to websites or open emails that
are suspicious of malicious intent, computer users
should also regularly check the healthiness of
their computers and information systems as a good
practice and preventive measure.

Trojan.Peacomm (22 Jan 2007)
Trojan.Peacomm is a trojan that arrives as
an email attachment or file downloaded from
malicious websites. The email message contains
varying subjects and an attachment with a
.exe file containing malicious codes. Upon
execution, it creates a peer-to-peer network
via port 4000/UDP and may also download and
execute some other viruses. Moreover, this
trojan has rootkit capabilities to hide its
files and processes to avoid easy detection.
