Honeypot Security

Honeypot SecurityA honeypot is a deception trap, designed to entice an attacker into attempting to compromise the information systems in an organisation. If deployed correctly, a honeypot can serve as an early-warning and advanced security surveillance tool, minimising the risks from attacks on IT systems and networks. Honeypots can also analyse the ways in which attackers try to compromise an information system, providing valuable insight into potential system loopholes.
