Hong Kong Clean PC Day 2009 – Security of Online Transaction

School Visit Programme

Since early 2008, OGCIO have teamed up with the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc. ((ISC)2) and the Professional Information Security Association (PISA) to visit secondary and primary schools, and organise information security seminars for their teachers and students. During the visits, we brought the awareness about technology crimes through discussion on current affairs such as on-line games, e-auction, social networking tools, and on-line shopping. At the same time, we also shared the common tactful skills about Internet criminals and how they cheat youngsters for financial loss.

School Visit Programme

We have continued the programme and visited more than 10 schools in different districts during school year 2008-2009. Over 3,270 teachers and students have participated in the related activities. We will visit more schools in future.

Following are some materials presented in the School Visit Programme for your reference.

Any schools that are interested to be visited by us are most welcome to contact us.
