Seminars and Talks
Teachers and parents are important role models for our youth. It is therefore important to make them aware of the nature and inherent risks of Internet and how to prevent our youth from falling prey to traps in the cyber world. We actively participate in and organise information security related activities with different organisations to enhance their understandings on the trends and threats of Internet. We have participated in a few experience-sharing events organised by different parties, such as Hong Kong Police Force, Education Bureau, Primary or Secondary School Heads Association of different districts, Federations of Parents-Teachers Associations and Hong Kong Institution of Vocational Education etc. Over 800 teachers, parents and students from various schools have participated in the events and we have shared with the participants the proper attitudes of using Internet, common offenses committed by youth, and basics on computer protections.
